2019 SKILLED WORKER VISA SCHEME:
In Parliament session, Angela Merkel’s government has been able to have the new immigration law passed on 9 May 2019. Germany’s new work visa immigration law was adopted on 9th May 2019 and opens the doors for academically qualified and other skilled workers from non-EU countries to find a job in Germany and get a work visa without complicated procedure.
The law is based on Canadian immigration model. In this law priority is given to skilled professionals with good qualification, level of professional experience, German/English language skills and age factor. One point that makes different from Canadian immigration model is that the German Skilled Worker Visa is a non-points based system.
Eligibility:
All Non-EU citizens having an academic qualification or a certified skill, for example DAE Diploma or a TEVTA/VTI certificate will be able to benefit from this new law.
